Temple Beth Sholom of the East Valley is a traditional, egalitarian synagogue that is formally affiliated with the United Synagogue for Conservative Judaism (USCJ).
In existence for sixty years, we offer a friendly, warm, and supportive environment in which Jews by birth and by choice and non-Jewish family and friends celebrate the richness and beauty of Jewish life through life-cycle events, communal worship, and education. Committed to the perpetuation of the Jewish tradition, we boast a vibrant religious school, active youth groups, and an outstanding adult education program. Every member of our community is welcome and encouraged to contribute his or her talents, expertise, and energy to our hands-on congregation that fosters strong social bonds among its members.
In addition to observance of Jewish religious traditions, Temple Beth Sholom of the East Valley values intellectual inquiry about all facets of Judaism. Viewing Torah study as a life-long commitment, Temple Beth Sholom of the East Valley encourages its members to become active students of Jewish history and thought and translate their knowledge into action so as to make the world a better place. Temple Beth Sholom of the East Valley works to support Jewish world wide solidarity, the State of Israel, and works tirelessly to improve the quality of life in the South East Valley. Temple Beth Sholom of the East Valley began sixty years ago in Mesa, Arizona.
