For many Jews, the words "Holy Days" evoke thoughts of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur: the shofar, kittels, introspection and renewal. The High Holy Days are certainly the most high profile and reverent of the yearly cycle. With that in mind, we are proud to be able to observe the High Holy Days in our own sanctuary surrounded with our families, friends, and visitors. In addition, volunteers prepare meaningful and engaging programs for our children while adults are focused in services. Many of our members gather for Taslich and to Break the Fast at the shul, or in small groups at members' homes. Services are free for members. Tickets for non-members are available by contacting the TBS-EV office. The cycle of the Jewish is year is full and rich. In addition to the High Holy Days, we strive to meaningfully mark its diverse seasons. From TU b'Shevat to Pesach, from Yom Ha Shoah, to Simchat Torah, we take pause during these holy days to honor our collective history, give thanks for our many blessings, and to focus our intentions to the ongoing work of repairing our world.
